Vojvodina League West
Vojvodina League West ( sr, Vojvođanska liga "Zapad") was a section of the Serbian Zone Leagues, Serbia's fourth football league. The league was operated by the Football Association of Vojvodina. Vojvodina League West consisted of 16 clubs from West Bačka District, South Bačka District and Syrmia District who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. At the end of the season the top club was promoted to Serbian League Vojvodina, while second placed team in this group faced second team Vojvodina League East side for a two-legged play-off. The winner on aggregate score after both matches will earn a spot in the Serbian League Vojvodina. The league after 2013–14 season was a replaced with Bačka Zone League and Novi Sad-Syrmia Zone League. Serbian League Vojvodina ( Serbian: Српска лига Војводина / Srpska liga Vojvodina) is one of four sections of the Serbian League, the third national tier. The other three sections are Serbian League Belgrade, Serbian League East, and Serbian League West. It began as the "Vojvodina League" in 1958 and obtain the current form in 1995. Rastina () is a village located in the Sombor municipality, in the West Bačka District, Vojvodina province in northern Serbia, at the border with Hungary. The village has a Serb ethnic majority and a population of 410 people (2011 census). Pećinci (, ; hu, Pecsince) is a village and municipality located in the Srem District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The village has a population of 2,581 (2011), while Pećinci municipality has 19,720 inhabitants. Veternik
Veternik ( sr-cyr, Ветерник) is a suburban settlement of the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. Its population numbers 17,454 (2011 census) and most of its inhabitants are ethnic Serbs. Over the years, especially in the 1990s, it grew with size and inhabitants thus merging with Futog to the west and Novi Sad to the east. FK Veternik
FK Veternik (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Ветерник) is a football club based in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. History The club was formed in 1977 along with the creation of Vujadin Boškov sports center. Until the 1990s the club mostly played in local lower leagues and the squad is formed mostly by local players. In the season 1997–98 the club reached for first time the 3rd league level, the Serbian League Vojvodina. In 2000 the club formed the football school where hundreds of young players begin their first steps in this sport. The club's school has participated in numerous tournaments in Serbia and in Europe.
