Voise Winters
Voise Lee Winters (born October 12, 1962) is an American former basketball player. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his senior season (1980-1981) at Gage Park High School in Chicago, Winters set an Illinois high school season scoring record which still stands: he averaged 46.7 points per game. His grand total of 1,048 points was also a record at the time, but several other players have since amassed higher totals. He played college basketball for Bradley University from 1981 to 1985. In his college career, he scored 1,714 points. After the close of his college career, Winters was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA in the second round of the 1985 NBA draft (44th pick overall). He appeared in 4 games for the 76ers in the 1985–86 NBA season, 1985–86 season, averaging 1.5 points per game. Ashville College
Ashville College is a co-educational independent school for both day and boarding pupils aged 2–18 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1877 as a boarding school for boys by the United Methodist Free Churches. It incorporated Elmfield College, Heworth, York and New College, Harrogate in the 1930s. 1985 NBA Draft
The 1985 NBA Draft took place on June 18, 1985. It was also the first NBA draft of the "lottery" era. It was also around this time where the league decreased the amount of rounds the draft spent, with the previous few years lasting up to 10 rounds total. A total of 162 players were selected over seven rounds by the league's 23 teams. The Bradley Braves are the intercollegiate athletics teams of Bradley University, located in Peoria, Illinois, United States. The Braves' athletic program is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) and competes at the NCAA Division I level.
