Voices Of The Lifestream
''Voices of the Lifestream'' is an unofficial tribute album released by OverClocked ReMix in honor of Nobuo Uematsu's score for the popular video game, ''Final Fantasy VII''. The album was released on September 14, 2007, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of ''Final Fantasy VII''. Since its release, the collection has received praise from numerous video game sites and professional composers. Development Production of ''Voices of the Lifestream'' began in January 2006 as a personal endeavor by OverClocked ReMix Judge and ReMixer Andrew "zircon" Aversa to recreate the soundtrack of ''Final Fantasy VII''. In a director’s note, Aversa credits his nostalgic experiences with the game as his motivation towards the project. A private forum was created to house development on the project and many community members were contacted to aid in developing a track list. OverClocked ReMix
OverClocked ReMix, also known as OC ReMix and OCR, is a non-commercial organization dedicated to preserving and paying tribute to video game music through arranging and re-interpreting the songs, both with new technology and software and by various traditional means. The primary focus of OC ReMix is its website, ''ocremix.org'', which freely hosts over 4,000 curated fan-made video game music arrangements, information on game music and composers, and resources for aspiring artists. In addition to the individual works, called "ReMixes", the site hosts over 70 albums of music, including both albums of arrangements centered on a particular video game, series, or theme, and albums of original compositions for video games. Tommy Tallarico
Tommy Tallarico (born Thomas Andrew Tallarico; February 18, 1968) is an American video game music composer, musician, sound designer, television personality, live show creative director and producer. He and his company, Tommy Tallarico Studios, worked on several video games since the 1990s. He co-hosted the television shows ''Electric Playground'' and ''Reviews on the Run'' from 1997 until 2006. In 2002, he created Video Games Live (VGL), a global video game music orchestra. In 2018, after becoming the president of Intellivision Entertainment, the company began work on and sought investors for an original video game console named the Intellivision Amico, for which Tallarico was frequently present in pitch videos.
