Voice Of Asia
Voice of Asia (, ''Azııa Daýysy''; , ''Golos Azii'') is a music festival held annually in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Acts from all over Asia and other areas take part. The usual venue for the festival is the outdoor Medeo speed skating rink, situated on the mountainous outskirts of the Tian Shan, several kilometers away from the Almaty center. In 2005 the event was suspended due to lack of funds. Manana Japaridze ( ka, მანანა ჯაფარიძე; az, Manana Caparidze), or simply known as Manana is a Georgian-Azerbaijani singer. She has been an Honorary Artist of Azerbaijan since 2009. ''Asia New Singer Competition'' () is a singing competition established by Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation in Shanghai, China, featuring younger and relatively unestablished contestants from many Asian countries, although contestants from Europe and Oceania have also participated and won awards. Some participants like Siti Nurhaliza, Misha Omar and Jaclyn Victor from Malaysia and My Tam from Vietnam would go on to become superstars in their countries. ''Asian Wave'' is a 2012 Chinese reality singing talent show featuring contestants from many different Asian countries. The show premiered on 11 July 2012 on Dragon Television. On 20 September 2012, Malaysian singer-songwriter Shila Amzah won the competition by unanimous vote, after performing 3 songs (in the final rounds) in 3 languages (Malay, English and Mandarin). Format The first 16 episodes, first shown between 11 July 2012 and 30 August 2012, feature competitions amongst 66 Greater China contestants (including music groups). Asia Song Festival
Asia Song Festival, A-Song-Fe or ASF, is an annual Asian pop music festival held in South Korea, since 2004. It is hosted by Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) and features artists from Asian countries. Participating artists are awarded a plaque of appreciation by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and ''Best Asian Artist'' by the chairman of Korea Foundation for International Culture and Exchange (KOFICE).
