Voctave
Voctave is an 11-member a cappella group based in Central Florida, United States. The group consists of several performers from the Voices of Liberty a cappella group at the American Adventure pavilion at the Epcot theme park at the Walt Disney World resort. The group often performs intricate arrangements of music from Broadway, Disney, jazz standards, and Christmas music. Among the unique characteristics which set the group apart from other a cappella groups is an extremely wide vocal range of 5 full octaves. The group's arranger is Jamey Ray, who also teaches at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. His arrangements blend classical group choral techniques with barbershop and gospel. Tony De Rosa served as musical director for the group from its inception until he left the group in early 2020, along with J. C. Fullerton. Kirstin Taylor Maldonado (born May 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She is best known as the mezzo-soprano of the a cappella group Pentatonix. With the group, she has released seven studio albums, won three Grammy Awards, and sold over six million albums. Voices Of Liberty
The American Adventure is the host pavilion of the World Showcase within Epcot at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, United States. It is also the name of the Colonial American-themed pavilion's main attraction, an Audio-Animatronics stage show of American history. It is located between the Italy and Japan pavilions. The pavilion includes a quick service food location named Regal Eagle Smokehouse, a Muppet-themed location focused on barbecue. Additionally, there is a merchandise location known as Heritage Manor which, as of February 2020, is currently closed for renovation. It will be merged with the former Art of Disney store that was located in Future World as a part of Epcot's transformation. Pentatonix (abbreviated PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, currently consisting of vocalists Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, percussion, and beatboxing, they produce cover versions of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material.
