Vladislav Stoyanov
Vladislav Boykov Stoyanov ( bg, Владислав Бойков Стоянов; born 8 June 1987) is a Bulgarian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Stoyanov began his youth career with Metalurg Pernik before transferring to CSKA Sofia in 2000, where he developed in their academy. In 2004, he left CSKA to sign first professional contract with Naftex Burgas. Stoyanov then spent a three-and-a-half seasons at Chernomorets Burgas. In 2010, he joined Sheriff Tiraspol where he won two Moldovan National Division titles and one Moldovan Cup. After success in Moldova, Stoyanov moved back to Bulgaria to play for Ludogorets Razgrad. He was named 2014 Bulgarian Footballer of the Year. In March 2017 he received a heavy injury while training with Bulgaria and returned at the end of 2019, but was forced to retire two years later, at age of 34, due to ongoing problems. Pernik ( bg, Перник ) is a town in western Bulgaria (about south-west of Sofia) with a population of 70,285 . Pernik is the most populated town in western Bulgaria after Sofia. It is the main town of Pernik Province and lies on both banks of the Struma River in the Pernik Valley between the Golo Bardo Mountain, Vitosha Mountain, Lyulin and Viskyar mountains. FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders (Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. However, CSA Steaua București sued the football club in 2011, claiming that this was a new entity; the two have since been in a legal conflict regarding the ownership of the Steaua brand and honours, which resulted in multiple court cases and the forced change of the name of ''FC Steaua București'' to FCSB in early 2017. The group stage of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League was played from 19 September to 12 December 2013. A total of 48 teams competed in the group stage. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). FC Tiraspol was a Moldovan football (soccer), football club based in Tiraspol, Moldova. They played in the Moldovan National Division, Divizia Naţională, the top division in Moldovan football. Pascal Borel
Pascal Borel (born 26 September 1978) is a German football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper. In 1999, Borel earned two caps for Germany at the U21 level. Playing career Borel was born in Karlsruhe. He played between 1998 and 2005 with Werder Bremen, and before that with SV Waldhof Mannheim and FC Germania Friedrichstal. In season 2007–08, he was part of Budapest Honvéd FC, where he made eight appearances playing in the Hungarian League. In March 2009, Borel signed with Chernomorets Burgas until the end of the season. On 4 April 2009, he made his competitive debut for the team in a match against Lokomotiv Sofia. Borel quickly became part of the main team and on 28 May 2009 he received a new contract with the club until the end of 2010–11 season. He left the club on 10 June 2011 after his contract expired. PFC Nesebar
Nesebar ( bg, Несебър) is a Bulgarian municipal ( bg, общински, pronounced obshtinski) association football club based in Nesebar, Burgas Province, that competes in the Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. Nesebar have played in the second tier or below for the majority of the club’s history, up until 2004 when the team promoted to A Group for the first time.
