Vladislav Sergeyevich Polyashov (alt. spelling: Poliashov; russian: Владислав Сергеевич Поляшов; born 4 April 1995) is a Russian artistic gymnast. He is a 2018 world silver medalist in the team competition (as an alternate on the Russian team). Biography At the 2017 Summer Universiade, Poliashov won a team bronze and a horizontal bar silver. World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The Artistic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for artistic gymnastics governed by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). The first edition of the championships was held in 1903, exclusively for male gymnasts. Since the tenth edition of the tournament, in 1934, women's events are held together with men's events. The FIG was founded in 1881 and was originally entitled FEG (Fédération Européenne de Gymnastique), but changed its name in 1921, becoming the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG); this name change roughly correlates with the actual naming of the World Championships. Although the first such games were held in 1903, they were not initially entitled the 'World Championships'. 2012 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 30th European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 23 to 27 May 2012 at Montpellier. The senior and junior events are different. During the senior's qualification the top eight teams progress to the team final, and the top eight gymnasts (two per nation maximum) on each apparatus qualify for the individual finals. After the qualification for the juniors the team medals and places are awarded.
