Vladimir Matyushenko
Vladimir Vladimirovich Matyushenko ( be, Уладзімір Уладзіміравіч Мацюшэнка, ''Uladzimir Uladzimiravič Maciušenka''; born 4 January 1971) is a Belarusian retired mixed martial artist. A professional from 1997 until 2014, he competed for Bellator MMA, the UFC, Affliction, Jungle Fight, and is the former IFL light heavyweight champion, where he was a member of Ken Yasuda's Tokyo Sabres. Wrestling career Matyushenko is an accomplished freestyle wrestler athlete who competed for both the Soviet Union and Belarus. At the age of 15, he was training alongside the Soviet Olympic wrestling team. At 90 kg, he won a silver medal in the 1994 European championships, and placed 11th in the 1994 World Championships. Rechytsa ( be, Рэчыца, ; russian: Речица; pl, Rzeczyca; lt, Rečyca) is a city in the Gomel Region in southeastern Belarus. It is center of the Rechytsa District. Kevin Andre Jackson (born November 25, 1964 in Highland Falls, New York) is an American retired freestyle and folkstyle wrestler, and mixed martial artist. Dave Schultz (amateur Wrestler)
David Lesley Schultz (June 6, 1959 – January 26, 1996) was an American Olympic and World champion freestyle wrestler, and a seven-time World and Olympic medalist. He coached individuals and teams at the college level and also privately. Dave and his brother, wrestler Mark Schultz, both won gold at the same Olympics (1984). The Schultzes were one of three sets of brothers (the others are Buvaisar and Adam Saitiev, and Anatoli and Sergei Beloglazov) to win both World and Olympic championships. The Schultz brothers won more NCAA, U.S. Open, World, and Olympic titles than any other American brother combination in history. Freestyle wrestling is a style of wrestling originated from Great Britain and the United States. Along with Greco-Roman, it is one of the two styles of wrestling contested in the Olympic Games. American high school and men's college wrestling is conducted under different rules and is termed scholastic and collegiate wrestling. Ken Yasuda (born May 2, 1971 in Kyoto, Japan) is a Japanese professional bodybuilder. He was formerly a mixed martial arts head coach for the Tokyo Sabres of the International Fight League. Biography Yasuda was born in the Japanese city of Kyoto to a family that boasts 46 generations of samurai warriors. As a child Yasuda dreamed of becoming a pro baseball player, and was drafted as a pitcher by a major league team after high school. Yasuda chose instead to play baseball at the University of Southern California, where he developed a love of weight lifting and physical conditioning from fellow USC alum Mark McGwire.
