Vladimir Kragić
Vladimir Kragić (8 June 1910 – 17 September 1975) was a Yugoslav footballer. Club career Born in Split, Kragić spent his entire career playing for his hometown club Hajduk Split, for whom he appeared in a total of 354 matches and scored 266 goals in the period between 1929 and 1939. Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split is a Croatian football club founded in 1911, and based in the city of Split. The Serbia national football team ( sr, Фудбалска репрезентација Србије, Fudbalska reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in men's international football competition. It is controlled by the Football Association of Serbia, the governing body for football in Serbia. After the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and its football team in 1992 Serbia was represented (alongside Montenegro) within the new FR Yugoslavia national football team. Despite qualifying for Euro 92 the team was banned from participating in the tournament due to international sanctions, with the ruling also enforced for World Cup 94 and Euro 96 qualifiers. The 1934 FIFA World Cup was the first World Cup for which teams had to qualify, after the finalists in the inaugural 1930 World Cup had participated by invitation from FIFA. With 32 teams having entered the 1934 competition, FIFA organized qualification rounds to select 16 teams for the finals. Even Italy, the host of the World Cup, had to earn its spot, the only time this has been the case.
