Vladimir Korolyov
Vladimir Ivanovich Korolyov (russian: Влади́мир Ива́нович Королёв; born 1 February 1955) is a Russian Admiral. He is the former commander in chief of the Russian Navy. Biography Korolyov graduated from the Frunze Higher Naval School in 1977. He attended the senior special officer program at the N. G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy in 1987. Korolyov served in submarines initially as navigating officer on the ''K467'' (1977–81) and then as deputy commander of ''K495'' (1981–84), commander of ''K-488'' submarine (1987–88), commander of ''K-387'' submarine (1988–93) and deputy commander of the 24th submarine division (December 1993 – April 1996). He worked at the anti-submarine division of the Northern Fleet (1996–2000) and was base commander at Gadzhievo naval base in 2002. Nikolai Anatolyevich Yevmenov () (born 2 April 1962) is a Russian admiral currently serving as the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy. Biography Yevmenov was born on 2 April 1962 in Moscow. He studied at the between 1980 and 1987, after which he was appointed commander of the electronic navigation department of the navigation unit (BCh-1) of a nuclear submarine in the Pacific Fleet from 1987 to 1991. Between 1995 and 1997 he studied at the N. G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy. Between 1997 and 1999 he commanded ballistic missile submarines in the Pacific Fleet. Viktor Viktorovich Chirkov (russian: Виктор Викторович Чирков; born 8 September 1959, in Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR) is a Russian admiral and the former commander of the Baltic Fleet. On 6 May 2012, he was appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, succeeding Vladimir Vysotsky, who had occupied the post for almost five years. The Northern Fleet Joint Strategic Command (russian: Объединённое стратегическое командование «Северный флот»), is one of the five military districts of the Russian Armed Forces, with its jurisdiction primarily within the northern region of European Russia and the Arctic Ocean. The Northern Fleet Joint Strategic Command is the third largest military-administered district by geographic size. ''Admiral Chabanenko'' is an ''Udaloy'' II-class anti-submarine destroyer of the Russian Navy. The destroyer was laid down in 1989, during the Soviet period, and was finished by Russia 10 years later, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. In 1999 she deployed with the Northern Fleet. The ''Admiral Chabanenko'' is the sole vessel of the Project 1155.1 design, a modified version of the Project 1155 design, also called ''Udaloy'' class.
