Vladimir Edouard
Vladimir Edouard (born 18 June 1978) is a Canadian-born Haitian former footballer who played as a forward. He also played at the international level with the Haiti national team. Playing career Youth career Edouard spent a portion of his youth in Haiti where he played at the youth level. In 1994, he returned to Quebec where he played in the local regional circuit the Ligue de soccer élite du Québec with Outaouais Football Club. After training in Poland with ŁKS Łódź academy he was offered a contract in 1997. He was also offered an athletic scholarship with Mercer University but declined the offer to pursue opportunities in Europe. He represented Team Quebec at the Canada Games as well as the 1997 Jeux de la Francophonie. In the Canada Summer Games, he featured in the tournament's final against Team British Columbia and contributed a goal to secure the gold medal for Quebec. Outaouais
Outaouais (, ; also commonly called The Outaouais) is a region of western Quebec, Canada. It includes the city of Gatineau, the municipality of Val-des-Monts and the Papineau region. York Region Shooters
York Region Shooters is a Canadian soccer team, that plays in the Canadian Soccer League. The Shooters played their home games at the St. Joan of Arc Turf Field in the City of Vaughan, Ontario. The team's colours were blue and white, mirroring those of the Italy national football team and reflecting the cultural heritage of the club. The club had also competed under various different names as Vaughan Sun Devils, Vaughan Shooters, Italia Shooters, and finally as York Region Shooters. They were formed in 2003 as the merger of two rival clubs in York Region: the Glen Shields Sun Devils and the original York Region Shooters. The Canadian Soccer League (CSL; french: Ligue canadienne de soccer — LCS) is a semi-professional league for Canadian soccer clubs primarily located in the province of Ontario, and claims the history of the Canadian National Soccer League (CNSL).
