Vivian Gaither High School
Gaither High School is a public high school located in the Northdale area of Hillsborough County, Florida. It opened in 1984 and is located on 16200 North Dale Mabry Highway. Bloomingdale High School, located in Valrico, Florida, was built around the same time and has the same architectural design. The school serves the communities of Northdale, Carrollwood Village, Lake Magdalene and other parts of northern Hillsborough County, such as Avila, and parts of southern Lutz. History and traditions When Gaither first opened up its doors in 1984–85, Seniors were not in attendance, and the school served only 9th-11th graders (Gaither did not have a class of 1985). In the 1985-86 year, (class of 1989) Gaither kept its doors open to 9th graders. The following year in 1986–87, Gaither ceased to include 9th graders and began to only house the 10th-12th grades until 1997 when Gaither reinstated a four-year program. Dale Mabry Highway
Dale Mabry Highway is a north–south road in Tampa, Florida. The majority of its length consists of three lanes each direction plus a central turn-lane and often includes a right-turn lane. It begins at the MacDill Air Force Base entrance in South Tampa and ends by merging with US 41 just north of the Pasco County border. The highway carries multiple designations, carrying US 92 for an approximately five-mile () stretch between Hillsborough Avenue and Gandy Boulevard. Eddie Ababio
Edward Kwame Ababio (born January 1, 1988) is a Ghanaian-American retired soccer player. Ababio is a coach with Tampa Bay United, a youth organization supported by the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Ababio previously coached with Florida Hawks FC, a youth program based in Lithia, Florida. Career College and Amateur Born in Accra, Ghana, Ababio lived for several years in Tampa, Florida where he played for HC United and Gaither High School before joining the US Under-17 national team residency at the IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He played for the UNC Tar Heels in college where he featured regularly almost throughout his time at the school (he was medically redshirted after making three appearances in the 2009 season). During his college years Ababio also played with Carolina Dynamo in the USL Premier Development League, and was on the roster of the Bradenton Academics, but did not feature in any games for the Florida team due to injury. Carlton Mitchell
Carlton Mitchell (born April 6, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at South Florida. College career Mitchell played college football at South Florida, where he was the school's career leader in receiving yards until his record was broken by Andre Davis in 2014. He announced on January 9, 2010 that he would forgo his senior season and enter the 2010 NFL Draft. Mitchell is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. Professional career Cleveland Browns Mitchell was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. In the 2010 NFL Season he played in five games as a rookie.
