Viva Le Famille
Vive La Famille () is a Mediacorp TV Channel 8 Singapore Chinese drama serial that revolves around a big family that faces many problems which other Singaporean families may also face, such as expenses on giving birth to a child, staying with their in-laws, etc. There are 2 parts of the show and were aired in 2002 and 2003 respectively. The cast for Part 1 includes mostly veteran actors such as Chen Shucheng, Chen Hanwei, Huang Biren, Zheng Geping, Lin Meijiao, Chen Huihui, San Yow, Richard Low and Li Yinzhu. Due to the popularity of the series, a sitcom spin-off-cum-sequel ''A Toast of Love'' was produced and aired in October 2003. It stars original cast members Richard Low, Hong Huifang, Lin Meijiao and Chen Huihui in their original roles as well as Dasmond Koh, Rui En and other artistes as guest stars. Chen Shucheng
Tan Soo Seng, better known as Chen Shucheng, (, born 21 October 1949) is a Singaporean actor and television host. He is one of Mediacorp's few artistes still active from the " black and white" era. Career Acting Chen joined Mediacorp, then known as Radio Television Singapore (RTS), as an actor in 1971. Since then he has portrayed many different roles ranging from a young nerdy doctor in '' The Awakening'', a rich flirting playboy in ''Pretty Faces'', the famous philanthropist, Tan Kah Kee in the war drama, ''The Price of Peace'' to a strict and unbending father in ''Love at 0°C'' . Hong Huifang
Hong Huifang (born Ang Hwee Fong on 7 January 1961) is a Singaporean actress. Career Hong joined the SBC during the mid-1980s after completing the 5th drama training course alongside Yang Libing and Chen Tianwen, at age 22. She is perhaps best known by her generation for starring in ''Samsui Women'' and her role as Wang Jinfeng in ''The Price of Peace'', for which she won her first acting award. Loh Rui En (born 29 January 1981), better known by her stage name Rui En (瑞恩), is a Singaporean actress and was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006. She was under contract of MediaCorp and managed under Hype Records. Early life Rui En was born on 29 January 1981 to a family consisting of her father, a property agent, and mother, a housewife.
