Viva Cuca
Cuca is a Mexican alternative metal band from Guadalajara, Jalisco that was formed in 1989 by musician and painter José Fors (vocals). Their first official concert, according to the band, was on February 14, 1990. Their first record, '' La Invasión de los Blátidos'' (1992), set them apart from any other Mexican band, since the album contained irreverent, humorous, curse-word laden lyrics and an aggressive sound that, at the time, was not expected in Mexican music. "Cuca" is an apocope for ''cucaracha'' (cockroach), and ''blátidos'' means blattodea, which is the scientific name given to cockroaches. In 1999, the band split up for unspecified reasons. In March 2004, they reunited for a series of concerts in la Concha Acústica del Parque Agua Azul of Guadalajara which were edited into the DVD titled ''Viva Cuca''. Galo Ochoa was born in 1967 in Los Angeles, California, is the guitarist for the bands Cuca and Nata. Cuca His career began with this band and for which he is most known. La Racha is Cuca third album, recorded in 1995, in Zurich, Switzerland ). José Fors
José Fors Fierro (born 30 July 1958) is a Cuban singer and artist best known as the leading member of the bands Cuca and Forseps. Biography Fors was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1958. At the age of three he and his family moved to Miami, Florida where he studied painting. In 1967 his family moved to Mexico City, where he lived for the remainder of his childhood. Later on he moved again to Guadalajara where he has lived most of his life. In 1976 he studied anatomical drawing with Robert Martinez and started working with musical groups such as Mask and Lepra. In 1985 he developed an ambitious project with Carlos Esegé (''née'' Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez) called Duda Mata. In 1990, along with Ignacio González (drums), Galileo Ochoa (guitar) and (bass), he founded Cuca, a group that interprets irreverent songs in a hard rock style. Blattodea
Blattodea is an order of insects that contains cockroaches and termites. Formerly, termites were considered a separate order, Isoptera, but genetic and molecular evidence suggests they evolved from within the cockroach lineage, cladistically making them cockroaches as well. The Blattodea and the mantis (order Mantodea) are now all considered part of the superorder Dictyoptera. Blattodea includes approximately 4,400 species of cockroach in almost 500 genera, and about 3,000 species of termite in around 300 genera. Termites are pale-coloured, soft-bodied eusocial insects that live in colonies, whereas cockroaches are darker-coloured (often brown), sclerotized, segmented insects.
