Vitalijus Satkevičius (born March 25, 1961) is a Lithuanian politician and the current mayor of Panevėžys Panevėžys (; Latin: ''Panevezen''; pl, Poniewież; yi, פּאָנעװעזש, ''Ponevezh''; see also other names) is the fifth largest city in Lithuania. As of 2011, it occupied with 113,653 inhabitants. As defined by Eurostat, the population ... since 2011. In 1988 he graduated from Kaunas Politechnical Institute. Vitalijus has been a member of the Panevėžys city council since 1997 and served as the mayor from 2008 to 2011 and since 2011.
