''Vital Signs 1'' was the first album of the Pakistani band Vital Signs. Fresh from the success of their smash hit Dil Dil Pakistan Vital Signs went to work on their debut album, with Shoaib Mansoor providing the lyrics to all but 2 songs. Dil Dil Pakistan had unparalleled success, something which no song has ever been able to achieve in Pakistan, on its way to becoming one of the most famous songs ever written. Rohail Hyatt produced the album, his first shot at music production. He is now known as one of the best Music Producers in Pakistan. The songs were varied in their arrangements, ranging from rock (Do Pal Ka Jeevan, Chehra) to bubblegum pop (Yaadein). Also included is an Urdu version of Neil Diamond's Red Red Wine with completely unrelated lyrics. Vital Signs (band)
Vital Signs () were a Pakistani pop and rock band formed in Rawalpindi in 1986 by two Peshawar University students. After their formation, they soon became Pakistan's first and most commercially successful as well as critically acclaimed act. The band's popular lineup consisted of keyboardist Rohail Hyatt, bassist Shahzad Hasan, guitarist Nusrat Hussain and vocalist Junaid Jamshed. Rooted in Rawalpindi with some influence from Western music during the conservative regime of President Zia-ul-Haq, the Vital Signs utilizes several genres, ranging from pop music to rock, and often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. In the early 1990s, they came to be perceived by many Pakistani fans and country's cultural observers as a "promising new era of cultural revival". ''Samjhana'' ( ne, सम्झना) is a 1983 love story directed by Shambhu Pradhan. It starred the first golden couple of Nepali cinema, Bhuwan K.C. and Tripti Nadakar. Nusrat Hussain
Nusrat Hussain (Urdu:نصرت حسین), is a Pakistani musician, airline pilot, guitarist, and keyboardist. He played guitar for the Vital Signs and keyboard for Junoon in the mid 1990s. He soon left both bands opting for a career in PIA as an airline pilot in airline industry. After his departure from Junoon, Nusrat released a solo album ''Amrit,'' which featured popular tracks such as Jo Chaho Tum and Teri Awaz. He made a comeback in 2015 with his album ''Kaho,'' which was a collaboration between him and music producer Sarmad Ghafoor. Nusrat Hussain currently captains Boeing 777 aircraft for Qatar Airways. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Shahzad Hasan
Shahzad Hasan (also known as Shahi Hasan), is a Pakistani musician, record producer, occasional actor, bass guitarist, backing vocalist and music industry executive. Co-founding the pop and rock band, Vital Signs, with keyboardist Rohail Hyatt in 1986, he earned recognition of playing bass guitar and as an original member of Vital Signs. In addition to his role as the band's bass player and backing vocalist, he has undertaken many other roles for the band, such as producing and co-producing their albums, producing backstage music for the popular television series, ''Coke Studio''. Junaid Jamshed
Junaid Jamshed Khan ( ur, ; 3 September 1964 – 7 December 2016) was a Pakistani singer-songwriter, television personality, fashion designer, actor, and preacher. After graduating with a degree in engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Jamshed briefly worked as a civilian contractor and engineer for the Pakistan Air Force before focusing on a musical career. Jamshed first gained nationwide and international recognition as the vocalist of Vital Signs. Their 1987 album, ''Vital Signs 1'' included the hit singles "Dil Dil Pakistan", and "Tum Mil Gaye".
