The Return Of The King
''The Return of the King'' is the third and final volume of J. R. R. Tolkien's '' The Lord of the Rings'', following '' The Fellowship of the Ring'' and '' The Two Towers''. It was published in 1955. The story begins in the kingdom of Gondor, which is soon to be attacked by the Dark Lord Sauron. Title and publication Tolkien conceived of ''The Lord of the Rings'' as a single work comprising six "books" plus extensive appendices. In 1953, he proposed titles for the six books to his publisher, Rayner Unwin; Book Five was to be ''The War of the Ring'', while Book Six was to be ''The End of the Third Age''. These titles were eventually used in the (2000) ''Millennium edition''. Rayner Unwin however split the work into three volumes, publishing the fifth and sixth books with the appendices into the final volume with the title ''The Return of the King''. The Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Animated Character in a Photoreal Feature is one of the annual awards given by the Visual Effects Society starting from 2002. Since its inception, the award's title has gone through six different title changes, and one major category shift. First awarded in 2002, the award was titled "Outstanding Character Animation in a Live Action Motion Picture" and given to the best character animation in a live action film, with no specific character cited. This would change in 2004, when the category was re-titled "Outstanding Performance by an Animated Character in a Live Action Motion Picture", and given to visual effects artists for work on a specified character. The category was again re-titled in 2008, this time to "Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture". Robert Stromberg
Robert Stromberg (born 1965) is an American special effects artist, designer and filmmaker. Stromberg's credits include films such as James Cameron's ''Avatar'', Tim Burton's '' Alice in Wonderland'', and Sam Raimi's ''Oz the Great and Powerful'', the former two earning him Academy Award wins for Best Art Direction. Stefen Markus Fangmeier (born December 9, 1960 in El Paso, Texas, United States) is an American visual effects supervisor and film director. The Far Side Of The World
''The Far Side of the World'' is the tenth historical novel in the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian, first published in 1984. The story is set during the Napoleonic Wars and the War of 1812. The story from ''Treason's Harbour'' has several points resolved, as to the success of Maturin's work identifying the French spies, the trap that Aubrey sailed out of but HMS ''Pollux'' did not, and Aubrey resolving the tension between him and Lieutenant Fielding, who escaped the worst French prisoner-of-war facility.
