Visit Mallorca Stadium
Mallorca Son Moix Stadium is a football stadium located in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, and serves as the home ground of RCD Mallorca. It is the largest stadium in the Balearic Islands and the 26th largest in Spain. Since the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic it was known as 'Visit Mallorca Stadium' having being re-named in a partnership with Consell de Mallorca to help resume the tourist activities on the island -its main resource. The stadium is located in the Can Valero industrial zone in north-west Palma, 3 km from the city center and 13 km from the Palma de Mallorca Airport, airport. It can be seen from the Autopista Ma-20, Vía de Cintura, Palma's urban motorway. UEFA Elite Stadium
UEFA stadium categories are categories for football stadiums laid out in UEFA's Stadium Infrastructure Regulations. Using these regulations, stadiums are rated as category one, two, three, or four (renamed from elite) in ascending ranking order. These categories replaced the previous method of ranking stadiums on one to five star scale in 2006. A stadium must be rated as category four in order to host games in the playoffs of the qualifying stage for the UEFA Champions League, or any game in the main competition. The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". Stadio Angelo Massimino (previously known as Stadio Cibali) is a multi-use stadium in Catania, Italy. It is used mostly for football matches and the home of Calcio Catania.
