Visam Ali
Visam Ali ( dv, ވިސާމް އަލީ) is a former High Commissioner of the Maldives to Malaysia. She was a Maldivian Member of Parliament representing Raa Atoll, Maduvvaree legislative district for the 18th sitting of Majlis of the Maldives. From 26 March 2019 to 1 February 2020, she was the last Ambassador of the Maldives to Malaysia, when the Maldives returned to its status as a republic in the Commonwealth of Nations, then she became the High Commissioner as a result. Career Prior to her political career she was a civil servant and headed the Department of Higher Education and Training, during President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom's administration. With her spouse Ahmed Thasmeen Ali, then Vice Presidential Candidate of DRP, she signed to Maldivian Democratic Party after the defeat in the presidential elections in 2008. Mohamed Fahmy Hassan
Mohamed Fahmy Hassan was the Chairman of Maldives Civil Service Commission. He is a native of Fuvahmulah, Maldives and is a Master-Degree graduate from the University of Bath, England. Fahmy started his career in 1975 in the broadcasting industry and since then has worked in offices like the President's Office, Ministry of Health and various schools and offices of the Ministry of Education. Fahmy has taught in or managed a total of 11 educational institutes in the country and has also authored several school text books and scripts for educational television and radio programs. Thalassemias are inherited blood disorders characterized by decreased hemoglobin production. Symptoms depend on the type and can vary from none to severe. Often there is mild to severe anemia (low red blood cells or hemoglobin). Anemia can result in feeling tired and pale skin. Ahmed Thasmeen Ali (born 1966; dv, އަޙްމަދު ތަސްމީން ޢަލީ), leader of Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party is a Maldivian MP, philanthropist and a businessman.
