Virtus.pro (VP) is an international esports organization founded in 2003 in Russia and acquired by Armenian investors in 2022. The organization has players competing in such games as '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'', '' Dota 2'', ''Rainbow Six Siege'', ''PUBG Mobile'', and '' Warface''. Virtus.pro's ''Dota 2'' team has participated in multiple Majors, winning record (tied with Team Secret) 5 of them and becoming the best Dota Pro Circuit first season team. Their ''League of Legends'' team won LCL Spring 2017. VP's former Polish ''CS:GO'' team is considered one of the best teams in the history of ''Counter-Strike'', winning the EMS One Katowice 2014 Major, IEM Rio Major 2022 (as ''Outsiders'') and several other premier tournaments. EMS One Katowice 2014
Electronic Sports League Major Series One Katowice 2014, also known as EMS One Katowice 2014, was the second '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'' Major Championship. The tournament was held from March 13–16, 2014 at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. It was organized by Electronic Sports League and sponsored by the game's developers Valve. The tournament had a total prize pool of . Filip "Neo" Kubski
Filip Borys Kubski (born June 15, 1987), better known as NEO, is a Polish player of the ''Counter-Strike'' series who is currently playing for Honoris. NEO is considered to be one of the best players in ''Counter-Strike'' history. He was also one of the "Golden Five" group of Polish ''CS'' players. Most recently he was the in-game leader for FaZe Clan. He has played for Virtus.pro, AGAiN, Universal Soldiers, ESC Gaming, Frag eXecutors, Vitriolic, Wicked eSports, Meet Your Makers, and Pentagram G-Shock. Kubski has been playing professionally since 2004. NEO is considered to be a mechanically gifted player, with an intelligent mind for the game. Electronic Sports League One Cologne 2014, also known as ESL One Cologne 2014, was the third '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'' Major Championship. The tournament was held during Gamescom 2014 from August 14–17, 2014 at the Cologne Exhibition Centre in Cologne, Germany. It was the second ''CS:GO'' Major of 2014. IEM Rio Major 2022
The Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII – Rio Major 2022, also known as IEM Rio Major 2022 or Rio 2022, was the eighteenth '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'' Major Championship. It was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between October 31 and November 13, 2022. Outsiders won the Major, defeating Heroic in the final 2–0. Background The Major was originally scheduled to take place from May 11 to May 24, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Valve and ESL postponed the Major to November. League Of Legends Continental League
The ''League of Legends'' Continental League (LCL; ) is the top level of professional ''League of Legends'' competition in the Commonwealth of Independent States, organized by Riot Games Russia. It replaced the SLTV StarSeries that was organized by StarLadder in 2016. There are eight teams in the league. Each annual season of play is divided into two splits, spring and summer, both consisting of five weeks of double round-robin tournament play, which then conclude with a play-off single elimination tournament between the top four teams.
