The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (abbreviated as "Virginia MOCA") is a contemporary art museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA, located at 2200 Parks Avenue, near the oceanfront resort area. The museum is on a landscaped campus adjacent to the eastern terminus of Interstate 264 near the Virginia Beach Convention Center and the Virginia Beach Tourist Information Center. Origins Virginia MOCA was born from the annual Boardwalk Art Show, which began in 1952 and is now the museum's largest fundraiser. Interstate 264 (Virginia)
Interstate 264 (I-264) is an Interstate Highway in the US state of Virginia. It serves as the primary east–west highway through the South Hampton Roads region in southeastern Virginia. The route connects the central business districts of Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach and serves as the most direct link between those cities and the resort beaches along Virginia's Atlantic coast. It runs from a junction with I-64 and I-664 ( Hampton Roads Beltway) near Bower's Hill in Chesapeake east into Portsmouth and through the Downtown Tunnel under the Southern Branch Elizabeth River into Norfolk.
