Virg Bernero
Virgil Paul "Virg" Bernero (born March 31, 1964) is an American politician and former mayor of Lansing, Michigan, elected on November 8, 2005, and re-elected on November 3, 2009. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Prior to serving as mayor, Bernero served as a legislative aide, an Ingham County Commissioner and as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate. He was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Michigan in 2010, losing in the November 2 general election to Republican Rick Snyder. Andy Schor
Andy Schor (born March 20, 1975) is an American politician currently serving as the 52nd mayor of Lansing, Michigan. A member of the Democratic Party, Schor was previously a member of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners. He also represented the 68th district in the Michigan House of Representatives, which includes most of the City of Lansing and all of Lansing Township. Schor is the first Jewish mayor of Lansing. Early life and education Schor grew up in Long Island, New York with his mother and father. His father found employment as a diamond distributor while his mother found work in a nursing home. Andy Dillon
Andrew Dillon is a Democratic Party politician from the U.S. state of Michigan. While Dillon is a Democrat, he was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder, a Republican, to be the state's treasurer. Before serving in the Cabinet, Dillon was speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives. In the House, he represented a constituency in Wayne County that included Redford Township, the northern portion of Dearborn Heights, and the eastern portion of Livonia. Michigan State Senate
The Michigan Senate is the upper house of the Michigan Legislature. Along with the Michigan House of Representatives, it composes the state legislature, which has powers, roles and duties defined by Article IV of the Michigan Constitution, adopted in 1963. The primary purpose of the Legislature is to enact new laws and amend or repeal existing laws. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by continuous or relapsing episodes of psychosis. Major symptoms include hallucinations (typically hearing voices), delusions, and disorganized thinking. Other symptoms include social withdrawal, decreased emotional expression, and apathy.
