	Violette AC Violette Athletic Club is a professional football club based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It is one of the most successful clubs in the country. In 1939, Violette A.C. captured the double after winning the league and the Coupe d'Haïti and won the 1984 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. The club was relegated to second division after the 2016 Ligue Haïtienne season. The club has produced many talented Haitian footballers, including Alexandre Boucicaut and Sébastien Vorbe. 	Violette (film) ''Violette'' is a 2013 French-Belgian biographical drama film written and directed by Martin Provost, about the French novelist Violette Leduc. It was screened in the Special Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Plot During the last years of World War II, Violette Leduc lives with Maurice Sachs, who doesn't love her but who does encourage her to write. She seeks out Simone de Beauvoir and eventually presents her with a draft of her first book. De Beauvoir rewards Violette's trust by reading and commenting on the book and by introducing her to contemporary intellectual icons Jean-Paul Sartre, Jean Genet and Albert Camus. In 1964, the success of Violette Leduc's autobiographical bestseller ''La Bâtarde'' enables her to earn a living from her writing. 	Eva Marie Veigel Eva Marie Veigel (also Eva Maria Violette, with variants Eva Maria and Ava-Maria) (29 February 1724 16 October 1822) was a dancer and the wife of actor David Garrick. Life Eva Marie Veigel was born in Vienna. She was a well-known dancer of her day, using the stage name Violette or Violetti, said to be a nickname given to her by Empress Maria Theresa based on the meaning of her surname—a corruption from the Middle High German ''viol'', "violet." As Chester says, "Nothing appears to be absolutely known concerning her origin." There is some doubt as to her paternity, with some saying she was the daughter of a respectable Viennese businessman named John Veigel; but Veigel and her husband were known to say she was of noble paternity.
