Athletics has been contested at every Summer Olympics since the birth of the modern Olympic movement at the 1896 Summer Olympics. Audrey Kathleen Kilner Brown MBE (later Court; 24 May 1913 – 11 June 2005) was a British athlete who mainly competed in the 100 metres. Personal life She was born in Bankura, India and was the younger sister of Ralph Kilner Brown and older sister of Godfrey Brown. At the age of nine, Brown moved to the United Kingdom. She studied at the University of Birmingham. In 1940, she married William Court. Career Whilst at University, Brown competed for the Birchfield Harriers. She competed at the 1933 World Student Games.
