"Memo from Turner" is a solo single by Mick Jagger, featuring slide guitar by Ry Cooder, from the soundtrack of ''Performance'', in which Jagger played the leading role of Turner, a reclusive rock star. It was re-released in October 2007 on a 17-song retrospective compilation album ''The Very Best of Mick Jagger'', making a re-appearance as a Jagger solo effort. After its original release in 1970, it was included on Rolling Stones compilations, such as '' Singles Collection: The London Years'' as a track credited to the Jagger/Richards songwriting partnership. Dramarama Albums
Dramarama is an American, New Jersey–based alternative rock/power pop band, who later moved to Los Angeles. The band was formed in New Jersey in 1982 and disbanded in 1994. The band formally reunited in 2003 following an appearance on VH1's ''Bands Reunited'' reality show. Since 1996, an evolving lineup of the band, always fronted by singer/songwriter John Easdale, has been performing in one incarnation or another (initially billed as Easdale solo but usually joined by former Dramarama bandmates), and from then until 2003 played occasional shows in the L.A. area, as well as in New Jersey. Astrid Young
Vendela Astrid Young (born August 16, 1962) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She is the daughter of journalist, sportswriter, and novelist Scott Young and his second wife Astrid Carlson, and the half-sister of fellow musician Neil Young, who bought her her first amplifier in the 1970s. After a brief run with ‘80s Glam metal group Sacred Child, she went on to record backup vocals on several albums through most of the ‘80s and ‘90s. James Lee Keltner (born April 27, 1942) is an American drummer and percussionist known primarily for his session work. Benjamin Montmorency "Benmont" Tench III (born September 7, 1953) is an American musician and singer, and a founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Early years Tench was born in Gainesville, Florida, the second child of Benjamin Montmorency Tench Jr. and Mary Catherine McInnis Tench. His father was born and raised in the city of Gainesville, and served as a circuit court judge. Tench played piano from an early age. His first recital was at age six.
