Vinnie Kilduff
Vinnie Kilduff (born 10 August 1960) is an Irish multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, primarily known for his work with U2, The Waterboys, Clannad and Sinéad O'Connor. He plays Whistle, Uilleann Pipes, Guitar, Mandolin, Piano, Harmonica, Bodhrán and flute. He is described as one of Ireland's best known contemporary Whistle players. Early life Kilduff was born in Knock, County Mayo, Ireland to parents Sheila and Jim. His mother was from Killorglin County Kerry. His father was a talented Fiddle-player and Whistle-player. Having mastered the Whistle by the age of six, Kilduff competed in numerous Fleadh Cheoil raditional Irish music competitionsthroughout his youth. John Anthony White (; born July 9, 1975), commonly known as Jack White, is an American musician, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the duo the White Stripes. Bob Dylan (legally Robert Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter. Island Records is a multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group. Mother Records was a record label founded by the band U2 in 1983 and distributed by parent Island Records. As a supportive promotional platform, the label released several one-off single releases for The Hothouse Flowers, In Tua Nua and Cactus World News among others. History The label was registered on 19 October 1983, and subsequently launched on 1 August 1984 by U2. Initially the label released only 'one-off' single's promoting Irish artists. ''Theology'' is the eighth full-length album by Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor. It was released in 2007 on Rubyworks (and Koch Records in the US). The album consists of two discs, the acoustic "Dublin Sessions" and the full-band "London Sessions". The first single from ''Theology'' is "I Don't Know How to Love Him" (an Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice song from ''Jesus Christ Superstar''). In the issue dated 14 July 2007, the album entered the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart at number 168. The album also debuted in the top 20 of Billboard's Independent Albums list at number 15. ''Lore'' is a 1996 studio album by the Irish folk group Clannad. It was re-issued in 2005 with the Cantoma mix bonus track of "Croà Cróga".
