''Vindicator'' is the first solo album by Arthur Lee, formerly of the rock band Love, released in 1972. The backing musicians are credited as Band-Aid. Arthur Lee (musician)
Arthur Taylor Lee (born Arthur Porter Taylor; March 7, 1945 – August 3, 2006) was an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame as the leader of the Los Angeles rock band Love. Love's 1967 album ''Forever Changes'' was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and it is part of the National Recording Registry. Early years Lee was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on March 7, 1945, in John Gaston Hospital, to Agnes (née Porter), a school teacher, and Chester Taylor, a local jazz musician and cornet player. As an only child, Lee was known by the nickname "Po", short for Porter, and was looked after by additional family members so his mother could proceed with her teaching career. With his father being his first connection with a musician, Lee was fascinated by music at a young age. It was released posthumously on January 17, 2020, by REMember Music and Warner Records, and was being worked on by Miller before his death in September 2018. Production was completed by Jon Brion. Thomas Vicari (born August 24, 1948) is an American recording engineer, mixing engineer, record producer and scoring mixer known for his work with Quincy Jones, Gino Vannelli, Nicholas Britell, Thomas Newman, Prince, George Duke and Barbra Streisand. David Hull is an American bass guitar player, best known as the substitute bass player for Aerosmith during three of their world tours. Biography David Hull began his career in music performing with Buddy Miles, Joe Cocker, Ted Nugent, Arthur Lee & Lee's band (called "Band-Aid" on the Lee solo album ''Vindicator''. In the 1970s, he was a member of the Connecticut band White Chocolate. Later, Hull founded the rock band The Dirty Angels and was a songwriter, bassist and co-producer on the band's three albums. "Everybody's Gotta Live" is a song written by the American musician Arthur Lee. It was performed by Lee and released as a single in June 1972, coupled with the track "Love Jumped Through My Window"; both tracks also appeared that year on Lee's album '' Vindicator''. "Everybody's Gotta Live" was later re-recorded and released on the 1974 album '' Reel to Real'' by the rock band Love, a group in which Lee served as frontman.
