Vincenc Makovský
Vincenc Makovský (3 June 1900 – 28 December 1966) was an avant-garde Czech sculptor and industrial designer. He was born in Nové Město na Moravě and died in Brno. He was a founding member of the Prague surrealist group, but was not active with the group for long. He founded the School of Arts in Zlín Zlín (in 1949–1989 Gottwaldov; ; german: Zlin) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 73,000 inhabitants. Nové Město na Moravě (; german: Neustadt in Mähren) is a town in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 9,800 inhabitants.
