Vinay Kumar Sinha
Vinay Kumar Sinha (also written as Vinay Sinha ; – 24 January 2020) was an Indian producer. He was the vice president of Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association. Biography Sinha was the producer of '' Chor Police'' which was released in 1983. Amjad Khan made his directorial debut with this film. He also produced ''Andaz Apna Apna''. This film received a cult classic status among the Hindi film audiences. Besides these films he also produced films like ''Ameer Aadmi Gharib Aadmi'' and '' Naseeb''. He also produced a few television shows. Sinha died on 24 January 2020 at the age of 74. Chor Police
''Chor Police'' is a 1983 Indian film, which is most famous for being the directorial debut movie of the Bollywood actor Amjad Khan. It stars Amjad Khan along with Shatrughan Sinha, Parveen Babi, Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor. It also features special appearances by Ashok Kumar, Nirupa Roy, Vinod Mehra and Bindiya Goswami. Plot Inspector Sunil Rana has been assigned the case of triple-homicide of the Sinha family, namely Mr. Sinha, his son Inspector Rohan, and Rohan's wife. After an investigation, Sunil concludes that the assailant can only be Dr. Singh, who is going to escape from India, and re-locate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, far from the jurisdiction of Bombay Police. Sunil must overcome borders to apprehend Dr. Singh, and thus bring justice to the Sinha family. Amjad Khan (actor)
Amjad Khan (12 November 1940 — 27 July 1992) was an Indian actor and film director. He worked in over 132 films in a career spanning nearly twenty years. He was the son of the actor Jayant. He gained popularity for villainous roles in mostly Hindi films, the most famous being Gabbar Singh in the 1975 classic ''Sholay'' and of Dilawar in ''Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'' (1978). Early life Amjad Khan was born in Bombay City, Bombay Presidency, British India on 12 November 1940 into a Muslim family of Pashtun descent to actor Jayant; who was originally from Peshawar, North-West Frontier Province. His younger brother was actor Imtiaz Khan. Amjad Khan was educated at St. Andrew's High School in Bandra. He attended R. D. National College where he held the position of general secretary, the highest elected student body representative. ''Andaz Apna Apna'' () is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha. It stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karishma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal (in a dual role) and Shakti Kapoor in lead roles. The film was released on 4 November 1994 and the plot elements of the film were later used in other language films such as ''Ullathai Allitha'' (1996), ''Veedevadandi Babu'' (1997) and '' Galate Aliyandru'' (2000), though none being a frame-to-frame remake. ''Naseeb'' is a 1997 Indian Hindi romantic drama film directed by Kirti Kumar and produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha. It stars Govinda, Mamta Kulkarni and Rahul Roy in lead roles while Ajit Vachani, Shakti kapoor, Kader Khan appear in supporting roles.
