Village Detective
Village Detective (russian: Деревенский детектив, Derevensky detektiv) is a 1969 Soviet crime comedy film directed by Ivan Lukinsky and based on the novella of the same name by Vil Lipatov. Lyrical detective lives of rural local policeman Aniskin. Later on the screens came two sequels: ''Aniskin and Fantomas'' (1973) and ''Aniskin Again'' (1978). Plot An accordion is stolen from a village club. For the collective farm, where an accordion is worth more than a good cow, this is a "crime of the century". When Aniskin is assigned to solve the crime, his suspicion falls on a man in love with a local store saleswoman. Mikhail Zharov
Mikhail Ivanovich Zharov (russian: Михаи́л Ива́нович Жа́ров; 27 October 1899 – 15 December 1981) was a Soviet and Russian stage and film actor and director. People's Artist of the USSR (1949) and Hero of Socialist Labour (1974). He studied under the prominent director Theodore Komisarjevsky and debuted in Yakov Protazanov's ''Aelita'' (1924). Later he became a Protazanov regular, appearing in ''The Man from the Restaurant'' (1927) together with Mikhail Chekhov. Yury Nikolayevich Chernov (russian: Юpий Никoлаeвич Чернов; born 24 April 1949) is a Soviet and Russian actor of theatre and cinema. Honored Artist of Russia (1994) and People's Artist of Russia (2008). Biography Yuri was born April 24, 1949, in the city of Kuibyshev. Graduated from the Moscow Circus School and GITIS.
