Christian Alberto Vilches González (born 13 July 1983), known as Christian Vilches, is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Unión La Calera. Club career Palestino Vilches began his career at Deportes Quilicura, a humble club of his country's third division. In 2004 he signed with Palestino, a club of the professional first division. He made his professional debut against Unión San Felipe and scored his first goal in the professional football against Cobresal in a 3–3 draw. In 2005, the player was loaned to Unión La Calera, where he remained until June of the following year before returning to the ''Colony Club''. Eduardo Enrique Vilches Arriagada (born 21 April 1963) is a former Chilean association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender. Club career Vilches began his professional career with Club Deportivo Magallanes, Magallanes, before moving to Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, Universidad Católica and Colo-Colo, with a brief step on loan at Malleco Unido. He also played for Club Necaxa, Necaxa in the Primera División de Mexico. In 1999 he returned to Chile and joined Unión Española, winning the 1999 Primera B de Chile, 1999 Primera B. Héctor Vilches (14 February 1926 – 23 September 1998) was a Uruguayan footballer, born in Montevideo, who played for C.A. Cerro. For the Uruguay national football team, he was part of the 1950 FIFA World Cup winning team, but did not play in any matches in the tournament. In total he earned 10 caps for Uruguay. In his early days he played as a winger for his club, but he then became a right back with the national team, but could play in both positions. He played his whole career with his local club C.A. Cerro Club Atlético Cerro, usually known simply as Cerro, is a Uruguayan professional football club based in Montevideo that currently plays in the Uruguayan Segunda División.
