Vila Halafihi
Vila Halafihi (born 24 January 1994) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for Sheffield Eagles in the RFL Championship. He is the son of former Hull KR, Sheffield Eagles and London Crusaders forward Nick Halafihi. Halafihi was a product of the Leeds academy system. Playing career Bradford Bulls 2015 - 2015 Season Halafihi signed for Championship side Bradford on a one-year deal. He featured in the pre-season friendlies against Castleford and Leeds. He featured in Round 8 (Dewsbury) then in Round 10 ( Doncaster). He played in Round 19 (Batley) to Round 20 ( Hunslet). Halafihi played in Round 23 ( Halifax) then in Qualifier 7 ( Halifax). The York Knights are the men's professional rugby league team of York RLFC (known as the York City Knights from 2002 to 2022) based in York, England. The Knights played their home games at Huntington Stadium before moving to Bootham Crescent. Following liquidation, the Bulls finished last place in the 2017 RFL Championship season and were relegated alongside Oldham. 2017 Challenge Cup
The 2017 Challenge Cup, (also known as the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 116th staging of the Challenge Cup the main rugby league knockout tournament for teams in the Super League, the British National Leagues and a number of invited amateur clubs. The defending champions were Hull F.C. who beat Warrington Wolves 12–10 in the 2016 final at Wembley Stadium. Hull F.C. retained the trophy beating Wigan Warriors 18–14 at Wembley on 26 August 2017. The format of the competition was eight knock-out rounds followed by a final. The first two rounds were composed entirely of 32 amateur teams. The London Broncos are a professional rugby league club in London, England. The club competes in the RFL Championship. It was a member of Super League from its inaugural season in 1996 until the end of the 2014 season, when they were relegated to the Championship.
