2015–16 División De Honor De Waterpolo
The 2015–16 season of the División de Honor de Waterpolo was the 93rd season of top-tier water polo in Spain since its inception in 1925. Twelve teams competed for this season. The season comprises regular season and championship playoff. The regular season started in October 2015 and finished on April 23, 2016. Top eight teams at standings when finishing regular season play the championship playoff. The championship playoff started on 3/4 May with the quarter-finals series. Quarter finals, semifinals and Final are played to the best of 3 matches. Atlètic-Barceloneta won its eleventh title in a row and sixteenth overall after defeating AstralPool Sabadell in the Championship Final series 2–1. 2012–13 LEN Champions League
The 2012–13 LEN Champions League was the 50th edition of LEN's premier competition for men's water polo clubs. It ran from 14 September 2012 to 1 June 2013, and it was contested by thirty teams from eighteen countries. There was no defending champion as Pro Recco renounced to the competition for disagreements with the FIN on the number of allowed foreign players in the Italian clubs' squads. Runner-up Primorje Rijeka, former champions Mladost Zagreb and Vasas Budapest, Italy's CN Posillipo and any team from Montenegro also declined to take part in the competition. The Serbian Water polo League A ( sr, Прва А лига Србије у ватерполу, Prva A liga Srbije u vaterpolu) is the highest level of men's water polo in Serbia and it is organized by the Water polo Federation of Serbia. History Kingdom of Yugoslavia / SFR Yugoslavia Domestic water polo club competition in Serbia started in 1921, three years after Kingdom of Serbia became Kingdom of Yugoslavia, although officially was known as Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes between 1918 and 1929. It was the first season of the Yugoslav Water Polo Championship which was played regularly from 1921 to 1991 with only exception being between 1940 and 1944 when the league was halted because of the Second World War.
