Dame Victoria Mary Taylor Heywood, (born June 1956) is the chairman of Unboxed:_Creativity_in_the_UK and a member of the Board of the National Theatre. She is a former Chairman of Mountview Drama Academy, the RSA, Royal Society of Arts. She is the former Chairman of 14-18 Now the UK's five year commemoration of the First World War. She is the former executive director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court Theatre, London, and ran the London International Festival of Theatre. She was chief executive of the Contact Theatre, Manchester. Royal Shakespeare Company
The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is a major British theatre company, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. The company employs over 1,000 staff and produces around 20 productions a year. The RSC plays regularly in London, Stratford-upon-Avon, and on tour across the UK and internationally. London International Festival Of Theatre
The London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) is a biennial festival of theatre, performance and cultural events. The organisation also supports year-round activity in London. The organisation was founded by Rose Fenton and Lucy Neal, with the first festival in 1981 hoping to ‘challenge British theatre and open a window on the world’ . Contact Theatre
Contact is an arts organisation in Manchester, England that focuses on youth leadership. History Contact was founded in 1972 by Barry Sheppard (General Manager of what was then Manchester University Theatre) and Hugh Hunt (Professor of Drama), as Manchester Young People's Theatre as part of the University of Manchester. Following a £5 million investment from Arts Council England, Contact was reopened in 1999 as an arts venue for young people. It is funded by Arts Council England, the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities, Manchester City Council and the University of Manchester, but it is independently run. The Queen's Birthday Honours for 2020 are appointments by some of the 16 Commonwealth realms of Queen Elizabeth II to various orders and honours to reward and highlight good works by citizens of those countries.
