Roberto Vignoli (born 1958, Rome, Italy) is a photographer who lives and works in Rome, known in both documentary and artistic circles. His photographs are inspired by cultural anthropology, architecture and environment. He is also a published writer and poet. Farpi Vignoli
Farpi Vignoli (21 August 1907 – 3 November 1997) was a 20th century Italian sculptor who was born and died in Bologna. Biography Farpi Vignoli was born in Bologna in August 1907, the son of Callisto Vignoli, a carpenter, and Ersilia Tagliavini, a homemaker. He was the youngest of three brothers. He spent his childhood and early adolescence in a house near the Arcoveggio racecourse (which would inspire him to sculpt both his "Il Guidatore di Sulki" (The Sulky Driver)" and for his "Horse"). In 1919, he was admitted to the College Venturoli, where he studied architecture, painting and sculpture, following sculptor Enrico Barberi's teachings. In this period Vignoli formed a close friendship with Paolo Manaresi and a friendship with the sculptor Luciano Minguzzi. He continued in the Academy with the same teacher Ercole Drei, who was busy sculpting the marble images of Liberty and Victory for the Certosa di Bologna monestery in Bologna. Fernando Torres Vignoli (Belo Horizonte, August 14, 1960 – December 13, 2016), professionally known as Vignoli, was a Brazilian painter and sculptor. He began his career in 1982 creating canvases in oil on canvas, where he applies his own technique, which, according to him, allows a perfect balance in the distribution of the elements, leading the viewer to come across texture, plasticity and creation, in perfect Harmony within the history of each painting. The style of Vignoli is a fusion between Surrealism and Expressionism, hence the declared influence by the Spanish master Salvador Dalí. By 2013, Vignoli work had been exhibited in more than 20 nations. Sofía Álvarez Vignoli (10 August 1899 – 12 May 1986) was a Uruguayan jurist and briefly First Lady of Uruguay, who was active in the struggle to achieve Women's Suffrage. Background She met her future husband Dr. Alberto Demicheli when they were both law students in Montevideo. On completion of the course, they married and subsequently had two children Julio Alberto (1938–1975) and María Adelina Demicheli Alvarez. She was active in campaigning for women's suffrage in Uruguay, which was achieved in 1932 (although women had already participated in some local elections in Uruguay). She was the main force behind the incorporation of Children's Rights into Uruguayan Law and wrote a book on Women's Civil Rights in 1946. Her husband Dr. Alberto Demicheli served as interior minister in the 1930s and was President of Uruguay as an interim measure in 1976.
