Vietnam Naval Academy
Vietnam Naval Academy ( vi, Học viện Hải Quân Việt Nam) is one of Vietnamese military academies belongs to Vietnam People's Navy for training naval commanding officers in division level and commanding staffs in tactical/campaign level, include undergraduates and postgraduates of military. The forerunner of Vietnam Naval Academy is Coastal Training School, was established on April 26, 1955 by the General Staff. The school has changed name in several times such as the Naval Training School in 1959, the Naval School of Vietnam in 1961, the Naval Officers School in 1967, School of Commander Naval engineering in 1980. Finally, the school has named Naval Academy in 1993. Vietnamese Military Academies
Vietnam has 22 military schools training officers for all branches, agencies, units belongs to the Ministry of Defence (Vietnam). Which has 19 schools enroll high school-level institutions, non-commissioned officers and soldiers. National Defense Academy of Vietnam in Hanoi only enrolls military officers have graduated from the Military Academy in middle level. Dalat Army Academy enrolls officers just graduated from officer school. Political Academy in Ha Dong only enrolls officers have graduated from the Political Officer School and the Officer Academies and other institutions in the military. Nha Trang
Nha Trang ( or ; ) is a coastal city and capital of Khánh Hòa Province, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. General Staff (Vietnam People's Army)
The General Staff ( vi, Bộ Tổng tham mưu) is the commanding and managing organisation of the Vietnam People's Army, the paramilitary forces, militia and other activities relating to defence of Vietnam. The General Staff was established on 7 September 1945, right after the Proclamation of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the first Chief of the General Staff was General Hoàng Văn Thái. Royal Cambodian Navy
The Royal Cambodian Navy ( km, កងទ័ពជើងទឹក, ) is the naval warfare service branch of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and one of the three uniformed services of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Lao People's Navy
The Lao People's Navy (LPN) is the navy of Laos. In 1975 the Lao People's Navy (LPN) was established with the remnants of the Royal Lao Navy. The Lao People's Navy operates vessels on the Mekong River, a major feature of the country's geography. Because the Mekong makes up a considerable portion of the Lao border, the Navy is significantly involved in border control work. Vietnam Marine Police
Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG, ; formerly Vietnam Marine Police (VMP) prior to October 2013) is the coast guard of Vietnam. Until 2013, it was a branch of Vietnam's military, the Vietnam People's Army, and falls under the management of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence. Since August 27, 2013, it has been transferred under the direct management of the Government of Vietnam. Since its creation in the late 1990s, the Vietnam Coast Guard plays an important role in maintaining sea security and protection of the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and continental shelf boundary.
