Vietnam National University of Forestry (VNUF) was established according to the Decision No.127/CP dated on August 19, 1964 by the Prime Minister of Vietnam. Currently, there are over 16.000 students, including undergraduate and graduate, following 22 disciplines of undergraduate level, 6 majors of master level, and 4 majors of doctorate level. The main campus of VNUF is located in Xuan Mai Town, Chuong My District, Hanoi Capital. The second campus (established in 01/2008) is located in Trang Bom Town, Dong Nai Province. The prime minister of Vietnam ( vi, Thủ tướng Việt Nam), officially styled as the Prime Minister of the Government of the Socialist Republic ( vi, Thủ tướng Chính phủ nước Cộng hòa Xã hội chủ nghĩa), is the head of government of Vietnam who presides over the meetings of the Central Government (formerly the Council of Ministers). The prime minister directs the work of government members, and may propose deputy prime ministers to the National Assembly. The head of government is responsible to the National Assembly and serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Council for Defence and Security. Hanoi Capital Region or Hanoi Metropolitan Area ( vi, Vùng thủ đô Hà Nội) is a metropolitan area currently planned by the government of Vietnam. This metropolitan area was created by decision 490/QD-TTg dated May 5, 2008 of the Prime Minister of Vietnam. Hanoi will be the core city of this metropolitan area. Other component parts will include provinces: Vĩnh Phúc Province, Hưng Yên Province, Bắc Ninh Province, Hải Dương Province, Hà Nam Province, Hòa Bình province, Hòa Bình, Bắc Giang Province, Phú Thọ Province and Thái Nguyên Province with an area of 24.314,7 km², half of the size of Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area, Greater Ho Chi Minh City, the same for population size planning. Vietnam National University of Agriculture (or ''VNUA'') ( vi, Học viện Nông nghiệp Việt Nam), until 2014 ''Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA)'', is an education and research university specializing in the agricultural sector. The university is located in Trau Quy town, Gia Lam district, a Hanoi suburban area, about 12 km far from Hanoi city centre.
