Vietnam Fed Cup Team
The Vietnam Fed Cup team represents Vietnam in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Vietnam Tennis Federation. They have not competed since 2014 Fed Cup, 2014. History Vietnam competed in its first Fed Cup in 2013 Fed Cup, 2013. They finished 5th in the 2013 Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group II – Pool A, Asia/Oceania Zone Group II round-robin and managed to secure a place in the group after beating Malaysia Fed Cup team, Malaysia in the 2013 Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group II – Play-offs, play-off match. The team continued to finish last in the 2014 Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group II – Pool A, Asia/Oceania Zone Group II group stage and defeated Iran Fed Cup team, Iran in the 2014 Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group II – Play-offs, play-offs. 2013 Fed Cup
The 2013 Fed Cup (also known as the 2013 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas for sponsorship purposes) was the 51st edition of the most important tournament between national teams in women's tennis. The draw took place on 6 June 2012 in Paris, France. The final took place at the Tennis Club Cagliari in Cagliari, Italy on 1–2 November. The home and three time champions Italy defeated the fourth-seeded Russia, to win their fourth title.
