Video Mods
''Video Mods'' is a television series that aired on MTV2. This show turned video game characters into musicians. It was created by Tony Shiff of Big Bear Entertainment in 2003. A pilot aired in December 2003, having been underwritten by Electronic Arts. It was a form of branded entertainment, as the pilot featured characters from their games ''SSX 3'', ''The Sims 2'' and '' Need for Speed: Most Wanted''. In 2004, MTV2 Head of Programming Alex Coletti commissioned four new episodes which aired that fall. The pilot and all 2004 episodes were produced and directed by Shiff, with Animation Director Kris Renkewitz. In 2005, additional episodes were animated by IBC Digital and Elektrashock. MTV never cleared the music rights for any purposes beyond their television airings, and as such, a majority of the episodes have become lost media. Alex Coletti
Alex Coletti is an executive producer and director, formerly for MTV Networks and is now as head of Alex Coletti Productions. A Brooklyn native and graduate of Brooklyn College, he produced MTV's iconic Unplugged series, was a five-time producer of the VMAs and served as a producer for Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XXXVIII Halftime shows. These shows included many iconic moments such as the Britney Spears/ Madonna kiss, the 500 Eminems, and Britney's carrying of a yellow python. He has been nominated for 3 Emmy Awards for his work with Unplugged. In 2009 his production company, Alex Coletti Productions, was responsible for the Sundance Channel show "Spectacle: Elvis Costello With...", which ran for 2 seasons, and several specials, including the " Radio City Christmas Spectacular Starring The Rockettes" and "The National Christmas Tree Lighting." Blink-182 (stylized as blink-182) is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Poway, California in 1992. Their current lineup consists of bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Travis Barker. Predictable (Good Charlotte Song)
"Predictable" is the lead single from American rock band Good Charlotte's third studio album, ''The Chronicles of Life and Death'' (2004). This was the first single released that featured Chris Wilson as the band's drummer. The song was also released in a Japanese version; in this version, only Benji Madden sings the Japanese part because he is the only one who knows Japanese. Released on September 27, 2004, "Predictable" reached the top 20 in Australia and the United Kingdom, where it topped the UK Rock Chart for a week. The song's music video, inspired by the film ''Edward Scissorhands'', takes place in a town drawn by the guitarist Billy Martin, with the band in a house singing the English version. Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Waldorf, Maryland that formed in 1996. Since 2005, the band's lineup has consisted of twin brothers Joel Madden (lead vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar and vocals), Paul Thomas (bass), Billy Martin (guitar and keyboards), and Dean Butterworth (drums and percussion). The band released their self-titled debut album in 2000 to mostly positive reviews. In 2002, they achieved breakthrough success with their second album, ''The Young and the Hopeless''. ''Darkwatch: Curse of the West'' is a 2005 first-person shooter video game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox (console), Xbox. "Pieces" is a song written and recorded by Canadian band Sum 41. "Pieces" was released to radio on November 15, 2004, as the second single from the band's third studio album, ''Chuck'' (2004). Music video The video shows lead vocalist Deryck Whibley singing while he miserably walks throughout an abandoned community. Trucks with one clear side pass behind him, showing the other band members inside of them with signs labeling them as having "the perfect vacation", "the perfect night", "the perfect family", and "the perfect body." In the end, there is a truck with Whibley sitting alone in a sparsely furnished room labelled "the perfect life". At the end of the music video, the letter "F" from the word "life" labelled on the truck falls off, which leaves him with a sign labelled as "the perfect lie". Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario. Originally called Kaspir, the band was formed in 1996 and currently consists of Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Dave Baksh (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason "Cone" McCaslin (bass, backing vocals), Tom Thacker (guitars, keyboards, backing vocals), and Frank Zummo (drums, percussion, occasional backing vocals). ''Destroy All Humans!'' is a 2005 action-adventure video game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by THQ for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
