Vidarbha Cricket Team
The Vidarbha cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team plays in the India's domestic first-class cricket competition Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. It represents the Vidarbha region of eastern Maharashtra. In December 2017, they reached the final of the Ranji Trophy for the first time in their history, after they beat Karnataka by 5 runs in the semi-finals of the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy tournament. In the final, they beat Delhi by 9 wickets to win their first Ranji Trophy. In the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy, Vidarbha successfully defended the crown by defeating Saurashtra by 78 runs in the final played at Nagpur. Faiz Fazal
Faiz Yakub Fazal (born 7 September 1985) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Vidarbha cricket team and Lisburn Cricket Club (NCU Premier League, Northern Ireland, UK), having previously played for Central Zone, India Red, India Under-19s, Railways cricket team, Railways, and Rajasthan Royals. He is a left-handed opening batsman. In the 2015–16 Deodhar Trophy, Fazal scored a 112-ball 100 for India A in the final against India B. He scored 127 for Rest of India in their successful run-chase of 480 against Mumbai in the 2015–16 Irani Cup. On 23 May 2016, he was selected in India's squad for Indian cricket team in Zimbabwe in 2016, their tour of Zimbabwe in June for three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Saurashtra Cricket Team
Saurashtra cricket team is one of the three first-class cricket teams based in Gujarat (the others being Baroda and Gujarat) that compete in the first-class tournament Ranji Trophy and limited-overs Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Competition history Previous teams from Saurashtra were Nawanagar and Western India. Nawanagar won the Ranji Trophy in 1936–37 and were runners up in 1937–38. Western India won the Ranji Trophy in 1943–44. Saurashtra began competing in the 1950-51 Ranji Trophy. Punjab Kings (PBKS) are a franchise cricket team based in Mohali, Punjab, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Established in 2008 as the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), the franchise is jointly owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta and Karan Paul. The team plays its home matches at the PCA Stadium, Mohali. The Gujarat cricket team is one of three first-class cricket teams representing the state of Gujarat (the other two being the Baroda cricket team and Saurashtra cricket team). Led by Parthiv Patel, Gujarat won their maiden Ranji Trophy title in the 2016–17 season, beating Mumbai in the final at Indore. Arun Muralidhar Ogiral (25 September 1942 – 26 February 2004) was an Indian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Vidarbha from 1960 to 1976. The Andhra cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team representing the South India state of Andhra Pradesh. The team's main home ground is Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy International Cricket Stadium at Visakhapatnam, while some home matches are also played at Anantapur and Kadapa. Overview The Andhra Cricket Association was formed in 1951. Ganesh Satish (born 15 March 1988) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who currently plays for Vidarbha cricket team. He was born in Davanagere, Karnataka.
