Victorian Gardens
Victorian Gardens was a seasonal traditional-style amusement park that is set up at Wollman Rink in Central Park, Manhattan, New York City, from spring through fall each year. Description The facility, which started operating in spring 2003, can accommodate up to 3,000 guests and features about a dozen rides which are geared primarily to ages 2–12. The rides include the "Family Swinger", "Samba Balloon", "Aeromax", "Convoy", "Rockin' Tug", "Kite Flyer", "Fun Slide", "HydroRacer" and "Mini Mouse Coaster" among others. Wollman Rink
Wollman Rink is a public ice rink in the southern part of Central Park, Manhattan, New York City. It is named after the Wollman family who donated the funds for its original construction. The rink is open for ice skating from late October to early April. Wollman Rink opened in 1950, having been proposed four years earlier. Rockin' Tug
Rockin' Tug is a flat tugboat ride manufactured by Zamperla. The ride is manufactured in both traveling and park versions. It is the first of a line of new "halfpiperides". Zamperla's Disk'O is another popular ride from that "family". The difference is that the Rockin' Tug has a friction wheel, while the Disk'O is powered driven. The idea itself is not new. Schwarzkopf made a ride called Shuttle Boat in 1978, in both portable and park versions. Design and operation Twenty four riders are loaded into a tugboat shaped gondola, in six rows of four. Antonio Zamperla S.p.A. is an Italian design and manufacturing company founded in 1966. It is best known for creating family rides, thrill rides and roller coasters worldwide.
