Victoria Williamson
Victoria "Vicky" Williamson (born 15 September 1993) is an elite British bobsledder and former track cyclist who specialised in the sprint disciplines. In 2013, with Rebecca James, she won the bronze medal in the team sprint at the World Track Cycling Championships. Early life Williamson was educated at Norwich High School for Girls. At the suggestion of one of her coaches at the City of Norwich Athletic Club, she switched from athletics to cycling in 2008. She entered the Girls4Gold programme, a group that searches for talented athletes with a potential for cycling, before being accepted into the Olympic Development Programme (ODP). She then progressed onto the elite Podium Programme two years later, and made her senior debut at the 2013 World Championships in Minsk. Hevingham
Hevingham is a village and civil parish in the Broadland district of the English county of Norfolk. Situated between the A140 road Norwich to Cromer road and the B1149 road Norwich to Holt road. 2014 British National Track Championships
The 2014 British National Track Championships are a series of track cycling competitions held from 24–28 September 2014, at the Manchester Velodrome. They were organised and sanctioned by British Cycling, and were open to British cyclists. Competition Separate competitions were held for both men and women, and 6 events were also included for paracyclists, an increase on 4 in 2013. No events were held in Omnium or Madison; the men's and women's programme was broadly identical, and otherwise matched the programme of the UCI World Track Cycling Championships. The women's team pursuit was held over 4000m for four cyclists for the second year. Open to British cyclists, the winners of each event are entitled to wear the national champion's jersey - a white jersey with a red, white and blue front stripe - for the next year when competing in that discipline. Katy Marchant
Katy Marchant, (born 30 January 1993) is an elite British track cyclist who specialises in the sprint disciplines. She was educated at Brigshaw High School. Career Originally from Leeds, Marchant was based in Manchester after her switch to cycling in April 2013. Marchant began her sporting life as a heptathlete, and represented Great Britain in that event at the 2012 World Junior Championships. The switchover was instigated by her former coach, Toni Minichiello (best known for coaching Jessica Ennis), who suggested the move to cycling having seen the results of her power output on a Wattbike test. Marchant had cycled for leisure on a mountain bike and on the road, but had no experience of track cycling. After a 6-week trial period, she permanently switched to track cycling. Dannielle Jade Khan (born 1 September 1995) is an English racing cyclist, who currently rides for British amateur team Saint Piran WRT. She won the sprint and 500m TT events at the Juniors world championships in 2013, as well as the silver medal in the Keirin. Career Born in Solihull, Khan started her sporting life as a short track speed skater, and was encouraged to try cycling as part off her off season conditioning. Jessica Varnish
Jessica Varnish (born 19 November 1990) is a former British track cyclist. Varnish was part of the 2014 world record holding European Championships team sprint champions and is a multiple medalist at the World Championships. Biography Jessica Varnish was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire on 19 November 1990, the daughter of James "Jim" Varnish, a keen cyclist. She attended South Bromsgrove High School. At the age of 14, Varnish competed unofficially at the 2006 Junior World Championships in Belgium. She took a second off the British 500m standing start record, setting a new time of 37.1 seconds.
