Victoria Carl (born 31 July 1995) is a German cross-country skier. She has competed in the World Cup since the 2013 season. Zella-Mehlis is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated in the Thuringian Forest, 5 km north of Suhl, and 20 km east of Meiningen. FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 took place between 18 February and 1 March 2015 in Falun, Sweden. This was the fourth time the event is held there, having previously been held there in 1954, 1974 and 1993. In 1980, one World Ski Championship race was held there as well, to make up for its exclusion from the Olympic Games the same year. Host selection At the International Ski Federation (FIS) Council meeting in November 2007, a Candidates project concept was highlighted for use. Candidacy submission was 1 May 2009 along with the registration fee and training days in article 5 of the FIS World Championships Organization Rules. Cross-country skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held at the Kuyangshu Nordic Center and Biathlon Center in Zhangjiakou, China. A total of 296 quota spots (148 per gender) were distributed to the sport, a decline of 14 from the 2018 Winter Olympics. A total of 12 events were contested, six each for men and women.
