Victor Zinger
Viktor Aleksandrovich Zinger (russian: Ви́ктор Алекса́ндрович Зи́нгер, 29 October 1941 – 24 September 2013) was a Russian ice hockey goaltender. As a member of the Soviet national team he won gold medals at the Winter Olympics in 1968 and at the world championships in 1965–1969; on all those occasions he was a backup for Viktor Konovalenko, except for 1969. Zinger also toured Canada as a member of a Moscow Selects team that played the Canadian National team and various club teams. Zinger was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1967. Nikolai Puchkov
Nikolai Georgievich Puchkov (russian: Николай Георгиевич Пучков, 30 January 1930 – 8 August 2005) was a Russian ice hockey goaltender. He was part of the Soviet teams that won two Olympic and seven world championship medals between 1954 and 1960, including three gold medals. He was named the best goaltender of the 1959 World Championships and won the European title in 1954–56 and 1958–60. In 1954 he was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame. Domestically Puchkov won nine Soviet titles with VVS Moscow and CSKA Moscow. In 1962 he moved to Saint Petersburg and after retiring next year coached SKA Leningrad until 1980. Unified Sports Classification System of the USSR (russian: Единая Всесоюзная спортивная классификация) is a document which provided general Soviet physical education system requirements for both athletes and coaches. Similar systems still exist today in several former Soviet republics.
