Victor Sikora
Victor Tadeusz Sikora (born 11 April 1978) is a Dutch retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Sikora began his career at the Go Ahead Eagles youth academy and worked his way into the first team, debuting as a 16-year-old. He quickly grew out to become a prolific scorer from midfield, prompting a move to Vitesse in 1999 before being signed by Dutch giants Ajax in 2002, where he appeared in the UEFA Champions League group stage together with players such as Zlatan Ibrahimović, Rafael van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder. Following successive injuries and loans to SC Heerenveen and NAC Breda, he signed a permanent deal with the latter in 2006. In the later stages of his career, Sikora had brief spells playing in the United States and Australia before announcing his retirement in 2012. Deventer
Deventer (; Sallands: ) is a city and municipality in the Salland historical region of the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. In 2020, Deventer had a population of 100,913. The city is largely situated on the east bank of the river IJssel, but it also has a small part of its territory on the west bank. Overijssel (, ; nds, Oaveriessel ; german: Oberyssel) is a Provinces of the Netherlands, province of the Netherlands located in the eastern part of the country. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. Jan Michels
Jan Michels (born 8 September 1970) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. His first professional club was PEC Zwolle in 1990. He later played with the Go Ahead Eagles, Motherwell in Scotland, Sparta Rotterdam, FC Den Bosch and AGOVV Apeldoorn. Career He played five years for FC Den Bosch, winning promotion to the Eredivisie three times – in the 1998–99, 2000–01 and 2003–04 seasons. After playing two seasons with Excelsior '31, Michels announced his retirement from professional football in July 2010. After his playing career, he started a construction company. Goal difference, goal differential or points difference is a form of tiebreaker used to rank sport teams which finish on equal points in a league competition. Either "goal difference" or "points difference" is used, depending on whether matches are scored by goals (as in ice hockey and association football) or by points (as in rugby union and basketball). The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. RKC Waalwijk
RKC Waalwijk () is a Dutch professional football club based in Waalwijk, that is currently competing in the Eredivisie. Its name is derived from 'Rooms Katholieke Combinatie' ('Roman Catholic Combination' in Dutch) and was established as a merger of HEC, WVB and Hercules. History The club was formed on 26 August 1940 and used to play its home games at Sportpark Olympia. Its new stadium, the 7,500 seater Mandemakers Stadion was opened in 1996 and featured the home match against Roda JC. RKC's clubname was also expanded with the name of the town before that 1996-97 season.
