Victor Boffelli
Victor Boffelli (born 20 March 1947) is a French former rugby union coach and international player. Boffelli, born in Arques, Aude, was a flanker and played his rugby for Stade Aurillacois Cantal Auvergne, Aurillac. Capped 18 times, Boffelli played for France national rugby union team, France between 1971 and 1975, marking his debut with a try in a win over the Wallabies in Colombes. He took part in three Six Nations Championship, Five Nations campaigns and was on the 1974 France rugby union tour of Brazil and Argentina, 1974 tour of Argentina. Boffelli, who continued at Aurillac as a coach after retiring, later took charge of ASM Clermont Auvergne, AS Montferrand and led the team that won the 1998–99 European Challenge Cup. Arques (; Languedocien dialect, Languedocien: ''Arcas'') is a Communes of France, commune in the Aude Departments of France, department in the Occitania (administrative region), Occitanie region of southern France. In 2011 the French Rugby Federation designated the France U20 team as the second national side, and from the start of the 2017–18 season, the French Barbarians became the official second side, moving the role of the former France A team to the more prestigious invitational side with better name recognition.
