Vicky Rodewyk
Vicky Rodewyk (born 20 November 1988) is an actress, photographic model and dancer from New Zealand. She has appeared in various TV commercials and shows, such as Barney, Shortland Street and an episode of Cloud 9's series ''Revelations – The Initial Journey''. Vicky is best known for playing the role of moaning air-head Gel in the Cloud 9 produced TV series The Tribe. She was one of 5 new main characters introduced to the fifth and final series of the show. The Tribe (1999 TV Series)
''The Tribe'' is a science fiction drama television series which premiered on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom on 24 April 1999. The series was created by Raymond Thompson and Harry Duffin, and was developed and produced by the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group in New Zealand. Strictly Dancing
''Strictly Dancing'' is an Australian television show that aired between 2004 and 2005 on ABC TV. The show was a joint production of Endemol Southern Star and Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Hosted by Paul McDermott, the show is a form of dance competition, with each episode featuring four dance couples from around Australia and New Zealand. The competition has three rounds, each consisting of two similar dance types. The styles range from basic traditionals, such as Cha-Cha and Rumba, to modern styles of Hip-Hop, to strange hybrids. Competitors are picked via auditioning, which is done around Australia before each season. Chosen competitors are alerted three weeks in advance of their appearance of their dances and competition date (to give all competitors the same amount of time to learn a routine). ABC Television is the general name for the national television services of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
