Vicki Boeckman
Vicki Boeckman (born 1955) is an American recorder artist, performer, and educator. Life and career Originally from Los Angeles, California, Vicki was introduced to the recorder while studying flute at California State University, Northridge. In 1981, she moved to Denmark to continue her studies with Eva Legêne, Marion Verbruggen and Walter van Hauwe. She taught at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, returning to the United States for performance and workshops beginning 1991. Jaap ter Linden (born 10 April 1947, in Rotterdam) is a Dutch cellist, viol player and conductor. He specialises in performance of baroque and classical music on authentic instruments. He began his career as principal cellist of notable baroque orchestras, including Musica Antiqua Köln, The English Concert and Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra. He co-founded the ensemble Musica da Camera, and in 2000 founded the Mozart Akademie in Amsterdam, an orchestra specialising in the classical repertoire, whom he conducts, and with whom he has recorded the complete Mozart symphonies. John Holloway (musician)
John Holloway (born 19 July 1948) is a British baroque violinist and conductor, currently based in Dresden, Germany. He is a pioneer of the early music movement. Holloway was born in Neath, Wales, and studied in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. After initial engagements, including at the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and at the English Chamber Orchestra, he became manager and concertmaster of the Kent Opera Orchestra in the 1970s. After an encounter with Sigiswald Kuijken in 1972, he started playing the Baroque violin and gained a reputation as violinist, teacher and conductor in the field of historically informed performance. In 1970 he became the concertmaster of Sir Roger Norrington's London Classical Players, and later Andrew Parrott's Taverner Consort and Players. Lars Ulrik Mortensen (born 1955) is a Danish harpsichordist and conductor, mainly of Baroque solo music, chamber music and early music repertory. He was a professor in Munich in 1996–99 and has since then been artistic director of Concerto Copenhagen. He received the Léonie Sonning Music Prize in 2007.
