''Vices and Virtues'' is the second studio album by Canadian rock band Art of Dying. It is the band's major label debut after signing under David Draiman and Dan Donegan's Intoxication records. Art of Dying is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Vancouver, formed in 2004 by lead singer Jonny Hetherington and guitarist Greg Bradley. Soon after, the duo added Chris Witoski on rhythm guitar, bassist Matt Rhode, and drummer Flavio Cirillo. History In 2006, Art of Dying released their first album, ''Art of Dying'' on Thorny Bleeder Records. In February 2007, ''Classic Rock Magazine'' released the compilation ''Classic Rock: The Bands You Need to Hear in 2007'', and included the Art of Dying song "Completely". The band then supported Seether on the UK leg of their world tour. On December 1, 2009, it was announced that the band had signed a record deal with Reprise Records and its division Intoxication Records, founded by Disturbed (band), Disturbed members David Draiman and Dan Donegan. Adam Gontier
Adam Wade Gontier (born May 25, 1978) is a Canadian singer and guitarist. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for Saint Asonia, but is best known as the former lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Gontier left Three Days Grace on January 9, 2013. In addition to his work with Three Days Grace and Saint Asonia, he has been involved in collaborations with other bands including Art of Dying, Apocalyptica and Breaking Benjamin. Early life Gontier was born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada on May 25, 1978. He was raised in Markham, Ontario. ''Vices & Virtues'' is the third studio album by American pop rock band Panic! at the Disco, released on March 22, 2011, by Fueled by Ramen. Produced by John Feldmann and Butch Walker, the album was recorded as a duo by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Brendon Urie and drummer Spencer Smith, following the departure of lead guitarist, backing vocalist and primary lyricist Ryan Ross and bassist/backing vocalist Jon Walker in July 2009. The album's artwork was conceptualized by touring bassist Dallon Weekes, who was inducted as a full-time member of the band near the end of recording. While Walker and Ross' exit left a hole in the Panic! songwriting regime, the experience became the catalyst for Urie deciding to take over as the band's principal songwriter. Panic! at the Disco is the solo project of American musician Brendon Urie. It was originally a pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 by childhood friends Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson. They recorded their first demos while they were in high school. Shortly after, the band recorded and released their debut studio album, ''A Fever You Can't Sweat Out'' (2005). Popularized by the second single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", the album was certified triple platinum in the US. David Michael Draiman ( he, דוד מיכאל דריימן; born March 13, 1973) is an American singer and songwriter. Noted for his distorted, operatic, baritone voice and percussive singing style, he is best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Disturbed since 1996. He has written some of the band's most successful singles, such as " Stupify", "Down with the Sickness", " Indestructible", and " Inside the Fire". In 2006, he was ranked at No. 42 on the ''Hit Parader'' list of "Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time".
