Vitaliano "Vic" Mauro (born 24 March 1987) is a former Italy international rugby league footballer who played for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League and the Salford City Reds in the Super League. He played as a and can also play as a er. Background Mauro was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Of Italian heritage, Mauro attended St. Paul's Catholic College and played junior football for the North Curl Curl Knights club in the Manly junior region. Playing career He made his first grade début for Manly-Warringah against the New Zealand Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium in 2007, and played 47 first grade games for the Manly club. Serbia National Rugby League Team
The Serbia national rugby league team represents Serbia in the sport of rugby league football. They have competed in international competition since 2003 under the administration of the Serbian Rugby League. They are coached by Englishman Darren Fisher, and captained by Stevan Stevanović. History 1950s–1960s Rugby League was first played in Serbia in 1953 when it was introduced by Dragan Marsicevic, secretary of the Yugoslav Sport Association. Two French teams toured later that year, and in 1954 the clubs Partizan and Radnički were formed. These clubs played their first match on 26 April 1954. In 1961 a Yugoslav Rugby League team played its only game against a French Select XIII team in Banja Luka. The French team won 13–0. Salford City Reds
The Salford Red Devils are a professional rugby league club in Salford, Greater Manchester, England, who play in the Super League. Formed in 1873, they have won six Championships and one Challenge Cup. Their home ground since 2012 has been the AJ Bell Stadium in Barton-upon-Irwell, before which they played at the Willows in Weaste. Before 1995, the club was known simply as Salford, from 1995 to 1998 Salford Reds and from 1999 to 2013 Salford City Reds. History Early years The club was founded in 1873 by the boys of the Cavendish Street Chapel in Hulme, Manchester. Using a local field, the boys organised matches amongst themselves before moving to nearby Moss Side.
